For those that have frequented this site/blog, you may have noticed the use of ads in hopes of monetizing the site. I went with Google’s Adsene to start and just recently added Adbrite to the top banner location. That was a mistake. After using them for almost a week, I went through their list of shown ads and found a few I’m not pleased with. There were more than enough that either looked like scams or email harvesters than I was comfortable with. I could set the account so that I manually approve each and every possible ad, but I don’t see that as being my job to police their ad network.

It has been replaced with my personally approved Linux OS links, which I admit could use some updating. So to conclude, I sincerely apologize for those crappy ads.
